Can you believe we have reached the final week of the 1st Quarter? We are incredibly proud of the hard work, growth, and determination our Eagles have demonstrated during these first nine weeks. As we close out the quarter, we want every student to finish strong and be prepared for an even stronger start to the 2nd Quarter!
📚 This week, all students will participate in Reading Progress Monitoring and an i-Ready Growth Check. These assessments help us measure student growth, celebrate areas of progress, identify skills that may need additional support, and make informed instructional decisions to ensure every student continues moving forward.
🏫 Attendance continues to matter every single day! Being at school on time and ready to learn gives students access to valuable instruction, classroom discussions, interventions, assessments, and learning experiences that cannot always be recreated. As we complete our final assessments of the quarter, please help us by prioritizing daily, on-time attendance.
🍦 Ice Cream Friday: Students may purchase ice cream on Friday for $2.
📅 Teacher Work Days: Students will be out of school October 12–13 for Teacher Work Days. We look forward to welcoming our Eagles back on October 14 as we officially kick off the 2nd Quarter!
🧺 Parenting Day – Monday, October 19: We are excited to welcome our families for Parenting Day! Parents will have an opportunity to pick up their child’s report card and enjoy a picnic-style lunch with their student. Families should plan to bring a lunch for their child to enjoy during the picnic. More information regarding the picnic and Parenting Day activities will be shared soon.
Please take a few moments to review this week’s newsletter and stay connected with us as we close out a successful first quarter.
Let’s end this quarter with Focused, Intentional, and Transformative efforts! 💪🏽🦅
